There is something of a misconception with this white from Priorat. Those who encounter it (production is less than 500 bottles a year) usually think that it’s the white from Sangenís i Vaqué. The truth is that while it’s made at this family winery, it’s daughter Maria who is primarily responsible for it with the grapes coming from her boyfriend Roger’s family vineyards. It’s one of those many side wine projects that people in Priorat do when they’re… well when they’re not making other wines.
