The regulatory board of DO Cava has announced that for the 2020 harvest, maximum yields per hectare will be dropped from 12,000 to 10,000 which is a reduction of nearly 17%. As is the purvey of the regulatory board, they are allowed to change yields year to year and as they commented to me in a follow-up question, this reduction will, for the moment only apply to the 2020 harvest.
