I was quite excited to receive this recent sample as I’d tasted the Sela 2013 sometime back and found it to be not only a great wine, but also a great value. I’m not really sure what happened here with the 2014 vintage as I was under the impression that Rioja wasn’t hit as badly with the early rains that were experienced more to the eastern parts of Spain and around the Mediterranean.
