10 Grenaches for the 10th annual #GrenacheDay

Today, the world celebrates “International Grenache Day”! It’s one of the least-demanding celebrations that exists as it simply means grabbing a glass (or bottle) of Grenache near you and toasting all that’s toastable in this mighty grape. The fact that it happens to fall of a Friday this year gives you even more reason to partake so enjoy! To see this day in properly, I’ve wandered through past tastings to round up a rather eclectic group of wines that illustrate just have flexible this grape is. I was reminded of this “flexible” facet recently as during lunch with a local winemaking friend, he described Grenache as a “puticlub” or basically, a “strip bar”.
