Pasanau - El Vell Coster 2012

Dark cherry, ripe plum, lots of dark fruit in general, fig, wet earth, bit of almond blossom, and violet floral character. Big and rich on the palate, alcohol sticks out a bit more, licorice gets more prevalent but amazingly has a very lingering finish and just enough acidity to push it along. Probably one of the best examples of the vintage to be seen.
