For those unfamiliar with the whole lunar cycle business when it comes to wine, there are many who take it quite seriously. Essentially, the main gist is that you have: fruit days, flower days, leaf days, and root days. These, along with moon phases dictate a great deal of how you go about growing your vines, picking, pressing, bottling, etc. When it comes to drinking, it follows in the same order as listed that those are the optimal days for a wine to taste its best. For reference and experimentation, this Sunday and Monday are the last two most optimal “fruit” days in January.
