This is a collection of wines tasted in the DO Bierzo region from October 5-8, 2020 as part of the research for the DO Bierzo 2021 Regional Report. They haven’t been included with the Bierzo Reds 2021 & Bierzo Whites 2021 reports as they were tasted outside the controlled, fully blind environment of the offices of DO Bierzo in Cacabelos. Instead, all these wines were tasted on site, with the winemakers and form a mix of wines that were both tasted from finished bottles as well as those tasted as a pre-bottled blend from barrels or tanks. Due to the irregular nature of the tasting, they’ve all been included here.
