Dried blackberry and plum peel with cocoa and potpourri, light notes of sage, softer vanilla and toasted barrel at the base. Rounded and fat on the palate, with a surprising amount of tannic width still. Nicely balanced and a surprising amount of body for the vintage. Definitely seems to be in its best window to drink....
