Domaine Lejeune - Les Poutures Premier Cru 2014

Mature red cherry with a good dose of mighty dark fruit, cedar and turned earth with a wet quality to it, weighty, woody, sandalwood notes, but overall integrated with just a touch of vanilla and toastiness, mild green fig note at the base. Medium plus but fine, drying tannins and acidity with balanced alcohol and a lingering finish. Wine is still progressing, developing, quite classic Pommard with an edge of rusticity.
