Dried blackberry and laurel notes with dried black tea leaves, light licorice and candied taffy notes, toasted aspects quite downplayed. Rich dried fruit notes, plentiful, angular toasted notes that are rounding out well and while definitely on the spicier side for the region, all is very well handled for such a hot vintage....
