Cascina Cà Rossa - Mompissano Riserva 2013

Very chewy, meaty red cherry with a sweet raspberry aspect, savory and bloody, black pepper, sweet spices, cumin, coriander, bit of old wood notes, fleck of molasses and just a hint of truffle. Very light, crisp red fruit on the palate, quite a wealth of tannins still that are continuing to integrate, medium plus finish and quite vibrant, medium plus acidity. Bit more aging left in this but vest to drink in the next three years, thus the Diam 10 closure.
