Deep, silky dark fruits with a fine spread of vanilla and softer toasted notes as well as plum peel. Juicy, fresh and lengthy on the palate with fine tannins wrapped around a succulent core. Pity about the unduly heavy bottle which has changed in format over the years but remains enormous....
