Alimara - La Xíspa 2017

Dark cherry with an underpinning of red fruit, anise, cedar, garrigue, and a touch of reduction that blows off, black licorice, prune, and dark spices. Sweeter dark fruit on the palate, quite compacted and closed overall but with fine tannins that are integrating and a crisp, driving acidity to the wine giving it some quite pleasing length and the ability to age.
