Tea Kettle + Twitter = Twettle

You gotta love the idea of the twettle. For those of us who are online folks and tea drinkers (which I’ve found goes hand in hand a lot) a kettle that let’s you know when it’s boiled would be great. Seeing as how when I’m back in cooler climates like San Francisco, I often drinks upwards of five cups a day, I’ve actually blown out the whistle on a kettle or two over the years. So, being online with Twitter, this would be quite handy to me. I like tea, I like Twitter (to quote Joey), what’s the problem?
I think the only downside would be the plastic construction of it. I’ve found that water just doesn’t boil as well in plastic. It really needs to be a neutral, natural surface like (preferable) metal or glass to get the molecules in the water excited enough to steep the tea properly.
Anyways, enough geeky tea shit. That’s a cool idea that I’d probably buy just for the novelty more than anything else.
