It reads more like some April Fool’s joke, but apparently Australian winemakers are putting sunscreen on their vines these days. Yes, seriously because if the BBC says it, then it must be true. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere it’s hard to realize that it’s not the middle of summer down under and it’s shaping up to be yet another record breaker in terms of heat. As the temperatures exceed 45C these days, they’ve started to apply some form of vine sunblock to protect against the harsh heat. […]
