Review: This tea is subtitled as being White Limon. For those unfamiliar, limon usually means a lemon-lime hybrid. In this case, you can definitely taste it as the bulk of the flavor revolves around bit lemon and a bit lime.
I've constantly had a hard time with this kind of tea. Herbal lemon teas can be good and tasty, but it always seems that whenever lemon or lime (or both) are introduced in to a tea, something goes wrong. I'm not sure if it's how I prepare it and if that's the case, someone should warn all of us that there is a different way to prepare this kind of tea.
The tea starts out smelling great in the bag. While it steeps, it fills the air around it with this great, robust scent. Then once cool and you go to drink it, it's this punch to the face. The flavors all tilt towards a strong bitterness that is even soapy at times in both texture and flavor.
I don't get where it goes wrong, but the Lemon Peel tea by Equator has a similar problem. With cream, it gets better, but it's still tough to drink. Sugar tones it down a little as well, but a flavor still comes through that I simply can't enjoy or get around and it's a shame as I can tell that the tea is very well blended and if only I could figure out this problem, I feel like a world of opportunities would open up for me on it.

Pairings: Sweet, sweet fruits. Overripe pears, apples, or berries would be best.
