Tréleela Tea's
It all starts in the aromas that come off while it's steeping, which have that great "popcorn" aroma that I like in a good many greens. It smells great and it makes you really want to enjoy the tea.
The body is smooth. It's not vapid of flavor though and is luscious with deeper, earthy tones that I generally get from a green tea.
The finish was also great. The maker claims that there are honey tones in there, but I could only taste the smallest hint of them. What I did get was this lingering zap of lemon, which is superb.
As with greens that are similar to this, you really need to watch the steeping time. Too little and they're watery. Too much and they're very stringent. Get it just right and it's flat-out super duper.
Pairings: Light crackers and tea with lightly flavored fish or crab. Think of this as a tea to have in afternoon that begs for savory items as opposed to the sweets needed while having a black in a traditional English afternoon setting.

Review: This green, which is subtitled, "Pristine Green" is quite possibly one of the best green teas that I've ever had.It all starts in the aromas that come off while it's steeping, which have that great "popcorn" aroma that I like in a good many greens. It smells great and it makes you really want to enjoy the tea.
