Organic Darjeeling

Company: Tazo

Review: Nice and smooth. Perfect for an afternoon sip. The flavors of the body are deep and lush. The aroma is slightly grassy, but not so much that it's bothersome and it opens up in to the wide body.
It's a refreshing blend overall and rather different from a lot of the other Darjeelings that I tend to like. It's probably because it has this nice finish to it that is nearly perfect except for a bit of a dry note that I don't really care for. It's just not enough to spoiled the tea though.

Pairings: A nice selection of pear wedges and hard cheeses. Anything too sweet wouldn't go well with it, but a nice, mellow creme dessert from a French bakery could taste really good.
