Yunnan Top Grade

Company: Mighty Leaf

Review: Deep, deep smoky aromas are the first bits to hit your nose. Then, you'll smell a dust of chocolate flavors as well. Once you sip it, these flavors get much more intense. The "mocha" flavors that Mighty Leaf mentions on their site are very, very present. Mix in a little milk and it will blend well, but will take on more of a round, chocolate sense to the body of the tea.
This blend is definitely for those that are familiar with and prefer Chinese teas. While the flavors don't approach the pounding in-your-face strength of a Lapsang Souchong, they are very distinct. If Chinese teas are not your thing, then this most likely won't be your tea. If you haven't tried any of their blends though, this would be a very good introduction with all the flavors it has.

Pairings: Things sweet and creamy. Think marshmallows or other fluffy, fun bits, even a very light Brie would go nicely. Darker flavors like chocolates and heavier cheeses should be avoided as anything with a strong flavor will fight the strong flavors in the tea.
