Keemun
Company: Mighty LeafReview: If this loose leaf tea were a person, it would be the one who sits around, is very quiet, and occasionally blurts out something that's rather interesting. You see, for all purposes, when properly steeped, Keemun is a pretty mellow blend. It's very easy to drink and very smooth. If you sip it slowly, you'll fit a wealth of other flavors like a hint of cranberry or plum, but they can be easily missed. When cream and sugared, they get lost altogether, which means I would recommend definitely drinking it straight, unless that's just not your style. It's a blend that I would say could be drank any time of the day due to it feeling much lighter than typical blacks.
Pairings: A little something spicy like, well, Chinese or Thai food. A dish with a bit of avocado and a salty meat like prosciutto would also go well with it in small amounts.
