Celebration
Company: Mighty LeafReview: Flavored holiday teas are seriously not my thing. I like to eat the spices associated with Christmas in the form of cookies and what not. Drinking them is something I find highly unpleasant.
That said, as if often the case with Mighty Leaf teas, this Celebration mostly just packs a punch out of the bag and while steeping. There will be plenty of folks who really like the overall aromas of this as they're quite spicy and full of holiday cheer. While not my thing, I understand that they could very well be for someone else and in that vein, they're well-crafted.
The actual body of the tea gets a good deal more pleasurable for me. The wafting floral elements drift away to a large extent and you're left with a full-bodied black tea. It's has a slight citrus flavor to it as well as the other cinnamon and other holiday spices that were in the aroma while steeping.
It doesn't finish as nicely as I would like, but that does end up working well when having it along with some kind of buttery holiday treat.
Pairings: Gingerbread and butter cookies with a warm fire.
