Bombay Chai

Company: Mighty Leaf

Review: You need to be in a certain mood or just flat-out like chai teas to drink them. You also (like most Mighty Leaf teas) need to let this one properly cool to get all the flavors that it has, otherwise, like the first time I had it, you miss out on a lot of subtlety. One flavor that really sticks out if the sharp ginger tinge to it which leaves a great, fresh aftertaste in your mouth. And while the nose of it would hint at it being full of cloves, I don't really get that from it. Something close to a wintry holiday feeling, but short of the brunt that mulled wine has.

Pairings: A nice, thinly sliced apple or maybe some melon that's not too sweet would taste great with it.
